Environmental Project Manager - Intermediate

Key Responsibilities 🚀
- Project Coordination: Oversee the lifecycle of complex hydrogeological evaluations and feasibility reviews for land application and groundwater monitoring sites.
- Tech-Savvy Management: Utilize electronic permitting applications and government IT tools to process reviews, track progress, and provide expert recommendations.
- Data Stewardship: Maintain accurate groundwater data systems and project tracking logs to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Collaboration: Act as a bridge between engineering teams, enforcement personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and compliance.
- Strategic Reporting: Craft insightful reports and presentations for leadership to drive data-informed decision-making.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements 📋
- Residency: Must be local to South Carolina.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Project Management Experience: 5+ years of experience working as a Project Manager.
- Education & Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Hydrology, Geology, or Geological Engineering PLUS one (1) year of related experience.
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Geology, or Geological Engineering PLUS two (2) years of related experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Must have completed Power User training and possess expertise in electronic government permitting applications (specifically ePermitting/Windsor Solutions).
Preferred Qualifications 🌈
- Hydrogeological Expertise: 5+ years of experience performing reviews and evaluations for land application and groundwater monitoring sites.
- Technical Knowledge: 5+ years of experience with groundwater hydrogeology, geochemistry, contaminant transport, and hydrogeologic investigation techniques.
- Data Skills: 5+ years of experience managing databases and utilizing geospatial software.
- Strategic Delivery: Demonstrated expertise in managing concurrent projects that align with organizational goals and foster transformative outcomes.
