Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. You will be able to build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats
Responsibilities:
- Use DevSecOps to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption while enabling rapid and stable delivery of capabilities using continuous integration and continuous deployment principles, methodologies, and technologies
- Identify, prototype, engineer, and deploy emerging software engineering methodologies and tools
- Automate and enhance DevSecOps pipelines and other tasks
- Define and promote enterprise software engineering and DevSecOps standards, practices, and behaviors
- Operate and support a suite of enterprise DevSecOps services
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years software development experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, that may include golang, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML
- Experience with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such as terraform
- 1+ years experience with Amazon Web Services
- 1+ years experience with container technologies/software such as Kubernetes
- 1+ years experience with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, network technologies
- Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security +
- AWS certification that must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related area of study or 6 years of experience with software development with programming, scripting, or markup languages or implementing IT systems
- An active Secret clearance is required and must be willing to obtain TS/SCI
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:
- An active Secret or TS or TS/SCI clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
