As the Market Development Manager, you’ll be the face of Celsius in the field—expanding our presence, driving case sales, and building strategic partnerships with distributor teams. This is your opportunity to take a lead role in shaping market growth, training sales counterparts, and delivering exceptional execution across retail channels. You’ll bring strong business acumen, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to navigate fast-paced, travel-intensive environments while maintaining a sharp focus on KPIs and sales strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Drive case sales and retail execution within assigned territory
· Increase distribution, secure cooler placements, and execute off-shelf displays
· Train and educate distributor and field sales teams through ride-alongs, blitzes, and meetings
· Foster communication and execution alignment with Distributor Partners
· Submit weekly sales recaps and trade development trip reports
· Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales KPIs via Celsius sales application
· Plan and manage travel logistics and expenses 3+ weeks in advance
· Coordinate POS materials and samples ahead of travel market activations
· Support Director and Regional Sales Managers with ad hoc initiatives
· Participate in weekly performance calls to review progress and opportunities
· Coach and develop field sales team members to drive consistency and execution
Requirements
· Experience: 3+ years in field sales, distributor management, or beverage industry roles
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
· Strong communication skills in both in-person and virtual environments
· Experience with retail sales, route planning, and customer training
· Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word
· Ability to analyze margin and profit matrices for deal negotiation
· Deep understanding of local territory and surrounding area
· Knowledge of energy drink category and brand-specific product lines
· Creative and strategic problem-solving abilities
· Ability to manage T&E budgets, book travel in advance, and meet aggressive timelines
· This position requires 50%–60% travel and a valid U.S. Driver’s License

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
