As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will design and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions for enterprise clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, supporting cloud projects from conception through implementation, while modernizing infrastructures and optimizing performance. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, automating environments with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices, and ensuring security and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to shape cloud strategy for high-profile organizations in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment. Fluency in German and English is essential to communicate effectively with stakeholders and teams.

Accountabilities

• Advise enterprise clients on cloud adoption, architecture, and modernization strategies.
• Lead cloud projects from design to deployment, ensuring scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.
• Evaluate existing infrastructures and implement improvements, including migration to public cloud platforms.
• Automate environments using CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across technical and business domains.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and team members.
• Occasionally travel for client engagements as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cloud architecture and enterprise-scale landing zones (Azure or AWS).
• Hands-on expertise in infrastructure modernization, migration projects, and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, or C#.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and platform engineering principles.
• Consulting experience and a customer-centric mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and keeping up with emerging cloud technologies.
• Nice to have: experience leading teams, mentoring, certifications from major cloud providers, or multi-cloud experience.
