The Desire Company connects real professionals with brands and retailers to create authentic, expert-led content that helps shoppers make confident purchase decisions. We invite Jewelers and Gemologists to join our growing community and collaborate on engaging video projects that highlight craftsmanship, jewelry care, gemstone expertise, and product insights.
Project Overview:
- Filming Date: TBD – Based on your availability
- Filming Location: Chicago, IL or local to expert (travel expenses covered)
- Time on Set: Approximately 3-5 hours (half-day; subject to change)
- Final Deliverable: 1 Product Recommendation Video
- Rate: Typically between $1,000 - $2,000 per project
- Usage Rights: The video content will be featured on the brand’s website, social channels, and in paid promotions for 1 year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert evaluation of selected jewelry pieces and gemstones, offering unique insights into their value, quality, and craftsmanship.
- Engage in a brief pre-production call (15-30 minutes) to ensure project alignment.
- Collaborate with our production team during a professionally managed filming session (on-site or virtual).
- Create engaging content that communicates your expert perspective and connects with the audience.
How It Works (it’s quick):
- Apply once → we pitch you to the brand.
- If selected → you test the product (about 2 weeks).
- Join our production crew on set (we handle everything).
- Get paid (varies per project).
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in jewelry design, appraisal, or gemology.
- Strong knowledge of current trends in the jewelry industry and gemstone quality assessment.
- Outstanding communication skills with an ability to engage and inform diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel if required.
