About the Role

The Development Specialist Trainer is a pivotal role dedicated to cultivating a high-performing and highly skilled engineering workforce across all Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs). The ultimate goal is to foster a robust culture of continuous learning where every engineer is equipped to excel in their role and contribute to operational excellence.

Your primary base of operation will be CFC 4 Erith, where you will regularly deliver the intensive 4-week engineering training plan. Due to the national and international scope of this function, you will be required to travel to all UK CFCs to conduct bespoke training courses as well as occasional foreign travel may also be required.

The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 15:30, with flexibility required to meet dynamic business and training needs.

About you

What You'll Bring:

  • Engineering Expertise: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a relevant field (e.g. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Education: A Level 3 Engineering qualification or a relevant engineering degree (or higher).

  • Learning Technology: Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
