Leerink Partners offers a ten-week Summer Analyst Program to students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. This is an opportunity to become acquainted with an experienced full-service investment bank focused on growth and innovative companies in the healthcare and life science industries. The program provides a unique opportunity to work alongside our investment banking professionals, gaining hands-on experience across a range of M&A transactions, while developing the skills required for a successful career in financial services and contributing to the firm’s continued expansion and growing presence in Europe.

As a Summer Analyst you will:

  • Learn about the firm, our culture, and the healthcare investment banking landscape
  • Develop the technical, analytical and professional skills necessary to support our business
  • Receive hands-on training and mentorship to help you grow and succeed in the role

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
  • Build and maintain financial models and perform valuation analyses
  • Conduct company and industry research, review business plans, and analyze financial statements
  • Support due diligence and execution processes
  • Work closely with senior team members across the firm and gain exposure to live mandates

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Exemplary academic record, on track to complete an undergraduate degree in 2027
  • Degree discipline or coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Life Sciences preferred
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Intellectually curious, motivated, collaborative individual who thrives working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Additional Information:

  • Location: London, United Kingdom
  • Program duration: 10 weeks, beginning Summer 2026
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom for the duration of the internship and not require visa sponsorship in the future
