Summary:

If so, this is a fantastic opportunity for you!We're looking for a highly capable and experienced Production Work Scheduler to be the driving force behind our operational and maintenance activities across vital water production sites, including treatment works and pumping stations. You will be instrumental in maximising the reliability and uptime of critical mechanical and electrical plant equipment.
As our Scheduler, you’ll be a crucial link between our operations and field teams. You will control, schedule, and monitor all proactive and reactive maintenance work. This involves developing and managing both long-term and short-term Planned, Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, while actively tracking and ensuring the quick resolution of urgent, reactive work. Your ability to adjust the schedule in real-time to incorporate emergent, high-priority work and communicate any potential delays or risks will be key to keeping production flowing safely and compliantly.

You will be using specialised corporate systems, such as Maximo, to create work orders, manage asset history, and generate reports to continuously improve our entire work planning process. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 15:30, with a half hour early finish on a Friday. You will be based in our Kent office, with the potential for 1 day working from home. During the summer months or in the event of an incident, you may be required to work from the office 5 days a week.
Main Responsibilities:
Work Order Scheduling:
Schedule preventative maintenance work orders at production sites following South East Water's (SEW) Work Management process.
Schedule corrective proactive and corrective reactive maintenance work orders at production sites according to the SEW Work Management process.
Operational Support:
Provide dedicated work scheduling support for day-to-day operational activities to both Production Managers and Production Technicians.
Process Compliance & Improvement:
Review the Work Management process to ensure all agreed procedures and processes are being adhered to by the relevant teams.
Contribute to the development and refinement of the existing Work Management process and the evolution of the Asset Management System.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance work arising from other business departments through ad hoc requests.
Ensure all cross-departmental ad hoc work requests align and comply with SEW's Work Management process.
What you'll need:
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
A good standard of verbal and written communication.
A full, clean driving licence.
Proven experience with, or the ability to quickly master, corporate Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems such as Maximo.
Excellent capacity for planning, prioritising and scheduling.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate and communicate detailed work plans, requirements, and status updates with various teams, including operations, engineering, and field technicians.
The ability to work independently, manage your own workload effectively, and demonstrate dedication to meeting critical deadlines.
