Private Client Account Manager - Justerini & Brooks

Type: 12 months Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

Reporting to the Private Client Director – Justerini & Brooks, this role will be responsible for developing their direct sales channel by engaging with, and selling directly to, (U)HNWIs. Offering exclusive access to products and experiences within the Justerini & Brooks portfolio. The role will navigate the complex world of private clients utilising an expert level of customer and liquid knowledge. This is a specialist field, where the individual must meet the high level of service demanded and expected by private clients to deliver the growth ambitions of Justerini & Brooks.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Private Client team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating the private client offering.

  • Sell in premium wine and Luxury Diageo Brands to top strategic clients with the ability to tailor bespoke offerings and experiences to unlock sales based on a relationship driven understanding of client.

  • Significant understanding of UHNW and HNW private customers, specifically top 25 accounts, in terms of their business needs, wine and spirit preferences, lifestyle and existing industry relationships.

  • This role requires a deep understanding of private customer's lifestyle including their business interests, network, geography and personal preferences to fully understand their needs.

  • Active and engaged management of full customer portfolio account by account.

  • Maintains and manages top PC accounts through customer lunches, dinners and meetings, connecting with team members and conducting thorough research and preparation prior to meetings.

  • Owns their P&L by accurately forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue targets from all assigned PC accounts.

  • Develops customer sale Plans to target UHNW and HNW customer accounts based on driving sales of strategic SKUs into each account’s customer reserves.

  • To discover and on-board new UHNW and HNW customers through careful and strategic networking to increase our share of business.

  • High level of cross-functional collaboration to Implement promotional activities (e.g. tastings/dinners) and incentives to deliver results in collaboration with Customer Marketing team.

Experience We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Sales/Commercial roles, within the drinks industry and private client channels

  • Extensive understanding of the private client channel

  • Strong network and contact base in the channel

  • Dynamic self-starter, highly motivated and eager to achieve success

  • Results and profit orientated

  • Highly organised and takes a planned approach to work

  • Manages own time well

  • Solutions orientated

  • Displays emotional intelligence and self-awareness in high pressure situations

  • Forward looking, focused on continuous improvement in productivity and effectiveness
