From its first location in Ft. Pierce, New Horizons has expanded to serve residents in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie Counties. More than 60 years after its founding, New Horizons remains committed to fulfilling its founders' vision. Human Resources Training Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Training Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in HR systems and excellent communication skills to support our human resources training functions effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Director of Human Resources in identifying required training for agency compliance
- Inform employees about available training opportunities and provide necessary information and technical support if needed.
- Knowledge of scheduling training sessions and coordinating logistics
- Creates training certificates for all new staff upon hire
- Ability to organize training with external providers
- Ability to track employee training progress
- Ability to keep training records on employee files and upload them to Paylocity
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs to prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Manage and maintain employee data within the Paylocity HR platform.
- Communicate effectively with employees and management to facilitate HR training processes.
- Assist with onboarding and other HR administrative tasks when needed.
- Prioritize and manage multiple training tasks efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to support HR initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Paylocity HR platform, a plus, or similar HRIS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, or a related field is required, along with one year of experience in employee training coordination.
And/or
An associate's degree in human resources, education, or a related field may be required with two years of experience as a training coordinator.
