We are looking for our future Advanced Specialist FP&A (m/f/d) to join our Finance team in Bremen, Germany.
Let's talk about the role:
Within the EMEA FP&A organization, the Central European FP&A team comprises a position focused specifically on the German Dealer business in Bremen as well as the branch in Switzerland. This individual is accountable to the Head of Finance for Central Europe.
Serving as a Finance Business Partner, the role involves offering guidance to senior leadership, engaging in strategic planning, and delivering analytical insights that inform business decisions, especially those pertaining to the healthcare industry.
Let's talk about key responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic business partner to senior management, deriving insights with strategic impact.
- Lead planning, forecasting, and variance analysis at the business unit.
- Analyze trends, pricing, and cost structures to derive financial action plans.
- Develop robust financial models to support decision-making.
- Ensure financial transparency, compliance with internal controls and regulatory alignment.
- Coordinate with EMEA and global FP&A and accounting teams as well as other functions such as demand planning, marketing in a matrixial environment.
- Prepare and present decision-relevant financial analyses to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Identify efficiency opportunities and implement performance-improvement initiatives.
- Drive a data-driven and performance-oriented financial culture within the company.
- Coordinate regional sales analysis, monthly management reporting, and commercial unit reporting in line with deadlines.
- Support monthly closing activities and participate in European finance projects.
- Deliver accurate and clear insights to support informed business decisions.
- Foster strong relationships across departments to drive business excellence.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred: degree from a business school).
- +5 years of experience in audit, financial controlling, or accounting in a commercial and matrix environment.
- Previous exposure to the healthcare or medical device sector is highly desirable.
- High level of fluency in both English and German.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of planning tools (Anaplan, Anaplan XL, tableau), and financial systems (Oracle) is desirable.
