The Position
Dein Praktikum wird in dem Subchapter "Antikörperentwicklung" stattfinden, die zu unserer Organisation "Reagent Research and Design“ gehört. Diese Entwicklungseinheit konzentriert sich auf die Entwicklung von Antikörpern für verschiedene Plattformen von Roche Diagnostics. Während Deines Praktikums wirst Du in der Gruppe „Recombinant Antibody Formats“ mitarbeiten, die für das Klonen und die Expression von Antikörpern zuständig ist.
Du wirst von Anfang an herzlich im Team aufgenommen und erhältst spannende Einblicke in die verschiedensten Bereiche. Im Fokus steht es, Dir einen stetigen Lerneffekt zu garantieren, Dich dabei zu fördern, aber auch zu fordern und Dir die Möglichkeit zu bieten, eigene Ideen einzubringen.
Deine Aufgaben
Du arbeitest an der Klonierung und Expression von Antikörpern in verschiedener Zellen
Du unterstützt unser Team bei der Optimierung transienter Tranzfektionsprotokolle durch Cell Line Engineering
Du wirkst mit bei den Expressionsanalysen von Zellen durch verschieden Mitteln
Du bist zuständig für die Sequenzierung von Zelllinien
Du führst selbständige Qualitätskontrollen der exprimierten Antikörper
Du hast die Möglichkeit deine Experimente unabhängig zu planen und zu präsentieren
Dein Profil
Du bist in einem Masterstudiengang der Fachrichtung Biologie, Immunologie, Biotechnologie oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang eingeschrieben
Du verfügst über Kenntnisse in grundlegenden immunologischen und molekularbiologischen Techniken (Klonen, Zellkultur)
Du hast Spaß an der Zusammenarbeit in einem Team
You are proficient in English and not afraid of talking to international clients

Your Department
Your internship will take place in the "Antibody Development" subchapter, which is part of our organization "Reagent Research and Design”. This subchapter focuses on the development of antibodies for various Roche Diagnostics platforms. During your internship, you will work in the "Recombinant Antibody Formats" group, responsible for cloning and expressing antibodies.
From the very beginning, you will be warmly welcomed into the team and gain exciting insights into various areas. The focus is to ensure a constant learning effect, to support and challenge you, and to offer you the opportunity to contribute your own ideas.
Your Tasks
You will work on cloning and expressing antibodies in different cells.
You will support our team in optimizing transient transfection protocols through cell line engineering.
You will be responsible for sequencing of hybridoma cell lines.
You will be involved in expression analyses of cells using various methods.
You will independently perform quality controls of expressed antibodies.
You will have the opportunity to plan and present your experiments independently.
Your Profile
You are enrolled in a master's degree program in biology, immunology, biotechnology, or a comparable field.
You have knowledge of fundamental immunological and molecular biological techniques (cloning, cell culture).
You enjoy working in a team.
You are proficient in English and not afraid of talking to international clients.
