As the Bread Baker you will contribute to Tatte’s success directing the bread department operations during scheduled shifts. The Bread Baker will be responsible for mixing, shaping, and baking during your weekly shifts. Daily responsibilities will vary and are dependent on experience and training however you will be expected to learn all facets of the bread department. At Tatte we bake everything from scratch and use high quality ingredients. The Bread Baker must thrive in a fast-paced work environment while adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards for the entire kitchen and dish area. Most importantly the Bread Baker takes pride in what they do and is a team player.
Job Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience successfully working in a high-volume professional bread production kitchen (or similar environment).
- Desire to help where needed and work as part of a team.
- Passion for baking with a keen eye for freshness, quality and cleanliness.
- An appetite for learning (and amazing bread).
- Familiarity with spiral mixers, bread shaping, proofing and baking
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, nights and weekends.
