Per Diem Paramedic
The Code Blue Operations team at MD Anderson serves as a critical lifeline for emergency medical response across the institution. Our Public Space Code Blue Team provides rapid, high-quality emergency care in non-clinical areas such as lobbies, parking zones, and patient drop-off locations, while also supporting clinical teams during Code Blue activations inside hospital spaces. As a vital extension of institutional safety, our paramedics deliver skilled, time-sensitive interventions that protect patients, visitors, employees, and anyone on campus experiencing a medical crisis.
As a Per Diem Paramedic, you bring advanced emergency care expertise to emergent situations outside traditional clinical settings. You will assess and stabilize patients according to established Code Blue protocols, perform critical interventions such as airway management, IV/IO access, defibrillation, and immobilization, and support the safe transfer or transport of patients as needed. In partnership with other Code Blue Teams, your work ensures immediate response, technical precision, and life-saving action across MD Anderson’s campus.
MD Anderson supports our clinical responders with a comprehensive benefits package, including paid medical benefits, PTO, retirement plans, and more, allowing you to serve our mission while being supported in your personal and professional well-being.
