This position is ideal for those who have finished their LPC or SQE exams and are looking for experience with commercial contracts in a global company. As a member of a dedicated project team of three, you will play a key role in reviewing and analysing contracts to identify location-based restrictions and other critical contractual elements. You will report into a member of our Legal Team, who will provide the necessary training and guidance.
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days working in our London office.
This is fixed term contract role with a 3 month duration.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management: Identifying contract completeness in our Contract Storage Location.
Contract Review: Analyse contracts to extract and interpret key information based on a predefined set of business questions.
Data Recording: Accurately document findings in the required format to ensure consistency and quality.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience (beneficial but not required):
- Demonstrated experience reviewing a range of contract types, such as; Order Forms, Framework Agreements, Terms and Conditions, Variation Agreements, Service Level Agreements.
- Familiarity with UK/EU/Swiss/US Data Protection Laws.
- Fluency in German would be beneficial but not required (reading and translation).
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of contract formation and structure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Law degree including the study of Contract Law.
- Completed either LPC or SQE exams.
