Who are we?
The SRPMIC is a sovereign tribe located in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Bounded by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Fountain Hills, the Community serves over tribal members, and all persons conducting business over approximately 96 square mile area of residential, agricultural and commercial lands, as a full-service government entity. The Community also operates tribal enterprises in diverse industries.
What the job looks like:
The SRPMIC’s Information Technology department (IT) is seeking a Senior programmer service applications and programs serving the government departments and divisions of the Community.
The ideal candidate would have proven experience in delivering on-time under budget IT development projects successfully, mentoring a number of level I & II staff with best practice guidance and training resources; experienced in Java and .NET framework; designing reusable scalable components and APIs; maintaining documentation and leading full lifecycle development; maintaining consistency across development, training and production environments.
Apply if you have a:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related IT discipline
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Java, J2EE architecture, as well as with web technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and JavaScript frameworks
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture
Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases
