About the role

You will step into a high-impact leadership position where your financial expertise directly supports the strategic direction of a rapidly scaling aerospace company. As the Director – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will play a critical role in driving sound, timely business decisions for Destinus, in a dynamic growth environment. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for building and leading Destinus’ global FP&A function. As the leader for FP&A, you will drive strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and cross-functional performance management across the company’s multi-entity, multicurrency environment. Destinus is also active with M&A and integration activities, which add another analytical dimension.

What You´ll Do

  • Lead the forecast and planning cadence, including strategic (5 year horizon), annual operating plan, quarterly committed forecasts (with risk and opportunity variances) and scenario modelling
  • Build on, develop and retain a high-performing FP&A team across geographies that is capable of scaling with rapid growth and business complexity, including succession planning
  • Deliver timely executive reporting, variance analysis, and insight-driven recommendations
  • Support strategic finance activities (for example, M&A, fund raising, capital planning) including financial reporting governance (internal and external), analytics support, and IFRS and local GAAP alignment
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, HR, and product programs
  • Lead FP&A systems, data automation, and reporting infrastructure

Requirements

What You’ll Need

    • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior FP&A roles, preferably in multinational, public companies
    • MBA or graduate level education strongly preferred
    • Advanced financial analytics, modelling and executive communication skills
    • Strong IFRS, cost accounting, and project accounting knowledge
    • High data fluency (for example, on topics such as data integrity, governance, automation, AI/ML, process controls)
    • ERP experience (MS Dynamics preferred) and BI tools proficiency
    • Primary business language - English
      • German, Dutch or French beneficial but not necessary
