About the Department
The Wraparound Manager provides clinical supervision, wraparound services for children and families enrolled in the Sewa Uusim system of care, manage professional and paraprofessional staff. In addition to providing counseling and case management services to clients, incumbent perform duties, such as ensure compliance with program policies and procedures, assign and review cases and conduct performance evaluations of staff, organize staff members for planning, engage staff in developing an overall plan of care, and guide staff team towards open strengths-based, family friendly problem solving.
Position Duties
- Supervision of staff to include prioritize and assign work, conduct performance evaluations, ensure staff are trained, follow policies and procedures, maintain a healthy and safe working environment, recruit and terminate, as well as, make disciplinary recommendations.
- Implement skills to facilitate communication among all team members in planning meetings regarding the follow through, timeliness, and outcomes of planned interventions.
- Transition Skills-Analyze progress toward the meeting of service goals and other essential skills.
- Provide clinical supervision for staff who works with children and their families using a wraparound service model.
- Assist in implementing program goals and objectives, coordinates evaluation activities and completes progress reports and other reports as necessary for the successful implementation of the program.
- Prepare and maintain all case notes, referrals, consultations, and other forms as required.
- Prepare monthly and/or quarterly reports as required by Clinical Director or Project Director.
- Audit all provider files, chart reviews, and any other oversight activity for program staff.
- Assign cases to appropriate providers upon receipt of referrals.
- Conduct Case Team Review at staff meetings, administrative meetings, and training activities.
- Train and supervise staff in implementing a Child/Family Team approach.
- Participate in Behavioral Health Management team meetings and other committees as needed.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by Clinical director/Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of:
- Management principles;
- Psychological assessment strategies for children and families;
- DSM-IV TR, ICD-10 diagnosis and treatment techniques;
- Concepts in wrap-around service provision, strength-based assessments, and the Child Family Team approach to the provision of services;
- Community and tribal resources;
- HIPAA Regulations;
- Yaqui culture, customs, resources and traditions and/or a willingness to learn.
Skills and Abilities:
- Perform and oversee the screening and assessment of children and adults of multicultural origins;
- Assess and treat behavioral and emotional problems of children and youth, including alcohol and substance abuse;
- Interview and collect pertinent information;
- Delegate assignments and coordinate activities;
- Ability to guide staff in skilled clinical strength based communication
- Ability to work independently and make autonomous judgments;
- Handle multiple tasks and participate in community activities;
- Maintain in compliance of all privacy acts;
- Create clear, and effective written reports;
- Operate a variety of office equipment, including a computer and related software applications;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, supervisor, management, Council members, and the public. Have ability to sufficiently exchange or convey information and receive verbal and written work instructions.
Other Qualifications
Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field, licensed as Independent or Associate in the State of Arizona recognized by the Office of Behavioral Health Licensure plus five (5) years of experience in behavioral health service, and with two (2) years of progressive supervisory experience.
- Credentialed as a LCSW, LISAC, LPC or LMFT or licensed as a Psychologist is preferred;
- Experience with a wraparound program is preferred;
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required;
- Experience working with Native Americans preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License;
- This position will require the incumbent to work non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends;
- Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card. Failure to maintain a current Level 1 Clearance Card will result in termination.
