We are looking to hire an experienced HR professional to manage and maintain our human resources. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining and recording HR information, managing the HR database, handling Bamboo tool and assisting company employees with enrolment procedures and HR-related issues for India office. 


What you'll be responsible for:  

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties (All generalist tasks) 
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) 
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc) 
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes 
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations 
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc) 
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures 
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees 
  • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database 
  • Maintains complete confidentiality of all HR-related information. 
  • Continually works with department to streamline the hiring process and improve internal policies. 

    

Induction and On-boarding 

  • When a candidate is finalized and selected, giving him the offer letter or letter of intent for joining the services, issuing an appointment letter with brief working agreement or policies once they join. 
  • Giving a presentation on the policies, procedures and culture followed by the company. 
  • Properly filing relevant documents of the new hire as required. Prepare personnel files. 
  • Introducing him/her to the team and the supervisor and/or manager. 
  • Sharing HR Manual with the new hires. 
  • Explaining the mode of communication 
  • Coordinating with the IT team to get his official Email ID made and IT equipment assigned. 
  • Assisting the employee with employee hire packet (BambooHR). 

  

Exit Formalities 

  • Conducting exit interviews of candidates who have resigned, as and when required. 
  • Helping the person to be relieved amicably per the procedure. 
  • Issuing relieving letter and letter of experience. 
  • Assisting in the full and final settlement for the person. 

  

Attendance and Leave records 

Keeping a track of the attendance of all the employees. 

  • Download Attendance database from attendance/biometric machine and pull/prepare weekly attendance reports. 
  • Check for the employees having a shortage of working hours, check for patterns of irregularity and notify the General Manager. 
  • Check for tailgating or double punches and if there are such employees, taking corrective and/or preventive measures. 
  • Ensure that the employee leaves are always tracked/updated on BambooHR. 

Reporting  

  • Maintain weekly/Monthly HR reports. 


  What you'll bring to Maropost:  

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 
  • Previous experience working in Human Resources. (5+ years) 
  • Strong MS Office, PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Knowledge of database software, email systems, and office software. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Friendly and professional demeanour. 
  • Good organizational skills. 
  • Empathy and an approachable demeanour. 
  • Attentiveness and honesty.
