Position Summary:

The Research and Records Administrator is expected to manage the research requests that come to SSB&T along with processing any research for subpoenas, garnishments, levies, and any other records requests. The Research and Records Administrator will maintain a close relationship with the Bank’s Attorney as well as Branch Operations Officers and Branch Presidents when working on research and records requests.  

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and emulate SSB&T Core Values
  • Maintains electronic records of any research request.
  • Maintains electronic records of any legal records requests. 
  • Communicate professionally with the Bank’s Attorney on all legal records requests.
  • Communicate as necessary with outside requestors and attorneys.
  • Report directly to the Senior VP Operations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be very detail oriented and able to perform research within given time frames. 
  • Must be able to communicate professionally with internal and external sources.
  • Must possess proficient technical and computer skills. 
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage projects through completion. 
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. 
  • Some college experience preferred. 
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a financial services company preferred.
