Based in vibrant Munich, you'll drive cultural shifts, support leadership development, and improve engagement throughout the German-speaking regions of Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. This position is on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis until end of January 2027 based in our LEGO® Sales Office in Grasbrunn, close to Munich and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered.

Please note: The internal title will be Senior People Partner and the internal level will be Senior Manager (no people leadership responsibilities).

Core Responsibilities  

As a Senior People Partner & Site Lead for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, you support the GM EUC and LT. You are effective in applying core HR processes and facilitate organizational changes like culture shifts, restructuring, and capability assessments. In this role, you will also support, develop and advance the engagement agenda.  

  • Provide people partnering support to GM EUC and LT such as strong and impactful deployment of fundamental HR activities, facilitate change management processes (cultural shifts, restructuring, capability assessments, and building processes).  

  • Develop the leadership team as an effective team, alongside the unit leader.  

  • Act as a coach and sparring partner for people leaders to drive performance and team effectiveness.  

  • Accountable for recruitment, prioritization, and organizational governance of the business unit.  

  • Leverage the Centers of Excellence as business needs emerge that can be supported through our Operational teams (e.g. Global Rewards, BSO & Global Mobility).  

  • Maintain a trustful and constructive relationship with the German entity’s works council.  

  • Drive the social agenda for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.  

  • Collaborate with global partners on business and HR side to provide regional insights and drive a cascade of global processes into country specific deployment if needed.  

  • Closely collaborate with shared services and operational HR departments for detailed execution of end-to-end employee cycle processes.

People Partnering organizations cover HR (PPC) Business Partnering as well as Employee Relations, including employee relations, benefits, policies and execution. The partnering organization is responsible for developing and deploying the people & culture agenda in line with the LEGO Group´s strategic direction!  

Do you have what it takes?  

  • Experienced working in HR within a global matrixed organization.  

  • Experience working with Works Councils and resolving legal and compliance cases.  

  • Strong partner leadership skills are evidenced through proven written and verbal communication ability, leading partners across various tiers of the organization and external institutions as well. 

  • Understanding of the Market & Channels business with some experience in project work and project tools.  

  • Working with data to inform, make proposals and influence decisions, particularly with compensation data and statutory reporting.  

  • Open minded, dedicated to solutions and outcomes, organized, and strong collaborative attitude.  

  • Capable of establishing and leading good relations with many different units and people at all levels of the organization.  

  • Preferred experience in working with a digital, commercially focused business model.
