Prevailance is seeking an experienced Information Warfare Advisor to provide expert assessment, coordination, and readiness support across Information Warfare (IW), Electronic Warfare (EW), Cryptology (CRY), and Intelligence (Intel) disciplines. This role integrates across Fleet commands, supports capability development, and advises leadership on policy impacts, readiness gaps, and IW system employment across Navy surface forces. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Monitor daily readiness of IW, CRY, and EW-related issues through official message traffic, email correspondence, verbal tasking, and other communication channels
• Assess policy changes for operational impact and provide informed feedback and recommendations to stakeholders
• Deliver regular formal briefings on IW, EW, and Intelligence matters affecting manning, equipping, and readiness of Navy surface combatants
• Coordinate IW, EW, and Intel capability requirements with USFFC, Cyber Command, Fleet Commanders, and other stakeholders
• Work with Strike Group Cryptologic Resource Coordinators and IWCs to support integration, certification, evaluation, and proper employment of IW, EW, and Intel systems
• Collaborate with In-Service Engineering Agents on certification, evaluation, and operational use of IW, EW, and Intel equipment
• Coordinate with Fleet Cyber Command regarding capability development, testing, and fielding of experimental systems and projects
• Engage with Fleet Electronic Support Command, Regional Maintenance Centers, and In-Service Agents to ensure effective system operations and logistics support for forward-deployed units
• Support development of standardized IW, EW, and Intel tactics, techniques, procedures, doctrine, training, and programs in coordination with Fleet Directors, NWDC, Fleet Information Warfare Centers, and subordinate commands
• Attend teleconferences, VTCs, internal meetings, and external coordination sessions
• Document meeting minutes and prepare visual aids, briefings, and supporting materials

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Navy IW disciplines including Cryptologic Warfare, EW, Cyber Operations, and Intel
• 10+ years of experience working with Navy command structures (e.g., COMNAVSURFLANT, USFFC, Fleet Cyber, Information Forces)
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience with Navy shipboard IW systems including integration, certification, and operational employment
• 3+ years of experience conducting IW/EW/Intel policy analysis and providing operational impact assessments
• Strong briefing skills and ability to deliver formal updates to senior leadership
• Skilled in preparing visual aids, drafting meeting minutes, and supporting senior staff functions
• U.S. Citizenship required

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Strategic Studies, Cyber Operations, Defense Analysis, or a related field
• JPME Phase II graduate
• CISSP certification
• Prior qualification as EIWS or IDWO
• Experience supporting R&D, testing, and fielding of experimental IW/EW/Intel systems
• Experience developing Navy TTPs, doctrine, or training programs

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Warfare, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
• CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 compliant)

Clearance:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
