With responsibility for approximately 40 staff across Settlements and ETD Clearing, you will foster a high-performance culture, champion innovation, and maintain robust controls in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Success in this role requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on leadership—building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external clearing agents, while ensuring that processes remain resilient, efficient, and aligned with global best practices. This is an opportunity to shape the operational backbone of TP ICAP’s EMEA business and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

  • Act as escalation point for all Settlements and ETD Clearing issues.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clearing/settlement agents, Risk Management, Technology, and Broker Management.

  • Drive process improvements, maintain a strong control environment, and ensure compliance with FCA regulations.

  • Produce and analyze MI on KPIs (e.g., failed trades, late settlements, margin calls) and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure robust Business Continuity Plans and audit readiness.

  • Manage talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement within both teams.
