Could you be the full-time Special Process Expert - Adhesive Bonding (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to [HIRING MANAGER] and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of EN 17460
- Create, teste, approve of work and repair instructions
- Define the manufacturing process and final adhesive selection based on the pre-selection of engineering
- Independent initiation of corrective and preventive measures up to and including Class A1
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the adhesive bonding processes
- Advice and support for RES, Q, PE, W, service for bonding technology issues
- Block non-compliant processes, components and operator
- Implement internal and external audits/assessments
- Be open to national and international business trips
- Participate in supplier development in adhesive bonding technology
- Support for other Alstom sites within the regional WCM network
- Maintain qualification database for bonding technology personnel
- Execute and organization of special process trainings for adhesive bonding operators and support functions
- Participate in further training and collaboration in the WCM network

- Engineering Degree (Master / Bachelor) and preferable further training as an European adhesive Engineer (EAE) according to EWF/DVS
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality promotion methods and techniques
- Planning skills and Analysis capability
- Basic knowledge of measuring and testing technology
- Basic knowledge of SAP and MS-Office Professional
- Language Skills English (B1-B2) & German (B2)
- National and international availability for travel
- Team and moderation skills
- Basic knowledge of the standards and regulations of the (international) railway industry (e.g. EN 17460)
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and methods Railway industry in the field of activity
- Knowledge of processes in the metal-working industry, in particular bonding techniques
