The Mission
Leidos is seeking an accomplished Persistent Surveillance Division Manager to lead a critical portfolio within the Defense Sensors Business Area. Reporting directly to the Vice President of the Defense Sensors Business Area, this leader will oversee profit & loss, strategic growth, technical execution, and staffing across a suite of programs delivering persistent surveillance solutions for US Department of War acquisition and R&D customer base. This role carries responsibility for ensuring mission success and meeting financial commitments across programs exceeding $60M annually. Additional responsibilities include oversight of hiring, workforce planning, career development, and performance management to ensure a high-performing and engaged organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead in a fast-paced environment, cultivating a positive, high-performance culture focused on delivering impactful results.
Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion, coordinating activities across multiple departments and subsidiaries.
Provide guidance and leadership to program and project managers to ensure alignment with organizational, technical, and business goals.
Apply strong business acumen to influence program organization, proposal development, business development activities, and overall division operations.
Collaborate with functional partners including finance, contracts, HR, and program execution to ensure programs operate efficiently and in compliance with corporate policies and best practices.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and mission alignment.
Promote team cohesion and a winning culture that reflects Leidos’ core values.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience in program management, defense production, or manufacturing leadership.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving expertise, with the ability to lead technical projects and gain trust from customers, technical teams, and senior leaders.
Proven leadership capability with a track record of driving improvements and organizational excellence.
Experience staffing and managing multiple complex projects.
Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the north Alabama area.
U.S. Citizen with an active Final Secret Clearance and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct P&L responsibility for portfolios exceeding $25M annually.
Experience supporting or managing large, complex defense acquisition programs.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
