We are currently seeking a Full-Time Store Manager to lead our retail team at our Harrisburg, PA location. Our stores play a vital role in helping students, parents, and educators find the perfect instruments and supplies to fuel their musical journey, and we'd love for you to be a part of our team!


About the Role

As our Store Manager, you'll be the driving force behind creating an exceptional customer experience and building a thriving store environment. You'll lead your team to success, ensure our store looks its best, and help us continue our legacy of supporting musicians throughout the region. This is a full-time position, with a schedule based around retail hours (and as needed before/after):

Mon - Thurs: 11 am - 8 pm

Fri: 11 am - 6 pm

Sat: 10 am - 5 pm

Sun: Closed


What You'll Do

Sales Performance & Inventory Management

  • Coach and develop strong sales skills across your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Oversee inventory management including cycle counts, transfers, and special orders to maintain accuracy
  • Track performance metrics and collaborate with leadership to drive store success

Store Operations and Merchandising

  • Create an inviting, well-organized store environment that showcases our products and drives sales
  • Maintain merchandise displays that are clean, properly arranged, and maximize product visibility
  • Ensure the overall store appearance reflects our commitment to quality and professionalism

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and inspire a high-performing team through effective team-building, training, and ongoing coaching
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and partner with the Regional Manager to continuously elevate team capabilities
  • Create staff schedules that optimize floor coverage and deliver excellent customer service

Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College coursework in music is a plus!

Experience:

  • 2+ years in sales, customer service, or retail environment
  • 1+ year in a management or leadership role
