Arbor Acres community includes a diverse group of senior residents and Artists (all staff are called Artists because our role is to create beauty in others' lives). You will work on a beautiful, gated campus (a two time "World's Greatest Culture" award-winner, while ensuring security and support for our residents.
This is a WEEKEND, PART-TIME position.
The receptionist greets visitors and vendors, monitors access of all visitors and determines identity and purpose of visitors’ presence in facility as appropriate. Answers phone calls and routes calls to the appropriate individuals, answers questions from the public and staff, provides information concerning the Health Center as requested. Provides administrative support to the Administrator Care Health Services.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Serves as the receptionist in the Health Center by greeting all visitors, determining their identity and purpose in facility as appropriate, directs them to the appropriate destination and/or notifies staff members when appointments arrive.
2. Answers phone calls with a consistent and professional voice and message, maintaining a superior customer service focus 100% of the time.
3. Routes calls to appropriate individuals. Takes and transmits messages in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Upon arrival at work, straightens lobby and work area.
5. Notifies appropriate staff upon arrival of new admissions, return from hospital and return from appointments.
6. Assists in transportation by informing staff, obtaining W/C, and assist in transporting to and from room.
7. Maintains Master resident Roster for Health Center, Arborview, and Asbury Place.
8. Recieves in-coming mail and packages from postal service and UPS, sorts resident mail by courts/location, batches staff mail and delivers it to the appropriate location.
9. Notifies appropriate Health Center Supervisor/Managers of applicants presence for interviews.
10. Prepares daily census, orders office supplies, medical supplies, prepares invoices from the medical supplies, and prepares and post daily staffing documents.
11. Performs other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-need basis.
Typical Physical Demands
1. Sense of sight and hearing and the ability to sit for extended periods of time are required.
2. Ability to lift and/or maneuver items weighing up to 30lbs.
Key Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong verbal communication skills. The ability to read, write, understand, and speak fluently and correctly I the English Language.

Minimum Education
High school or equivalent education.
Minimum Experience
Six months in a similar job or office environment or related experience/skills.
