Job Title:  Assembly Service Operator

Report To: Service Manager-Niles Frisbie

Supervisor: Roger Otte

Hours: 4am-12:15p & 6am-2:15pm (Hours may vary) 

Location: East Plant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs a variety of component assembly operations, using hand tools and mechanically assisted operations, to produced assembles CVJ’s. Rotates among various stations to person sub-assembly operations on an assigned product line. Coordinated with other team members for efficient assembly. Learns the typical 25-30 component parts making each product assembly, through on-the-job training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Observes operation of machines and verifies conformance to specifications
• Records quality inspection data on check sheets 
• Records production information on daily reports
• Moves control switches to check and reset machines
• Records inventory transactions using the Bar Code Inventory system
• Supplies components to hoppers, indexing poles or conveyors.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor
