Job Description:

Avery Dennison is seeking an Application Consultant to join the Label and Graphic Materials Group organization. This role is aligned with the Label & Packaging Materials Group business and is responsible for providing complete application and general technical consulting support through phone and email coverage. This role will, at times, support both strategic and regional Customer accounts, including our Canadian Customer base. They will partner with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and other business teams to deliver price, mix, and profitability objectives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide thorough application and technical consulting directly to customers via telephone, chat and email service channels managed through the SalesForce Service Cloud case management platform.

• Provide product recommendations that include: samples, technical support, compliance information, pricing, availability, and application testing as warranted. 

• Identify opportunities for new product combinations that meet application CTQs, enabling new business and communicate to appropriate teams.  

• Initiate Salesforce opportunities when working on large new pieces of business, or requiring high investment technical testing.

• Conduct application assessments, including simple troubleshooting.

• Uncover Customer needs and provide robust yet competitively positioned solutions.

• Communicate Customer opportunities to sales partners for follow-up.

• Accumulate and assimilate knowledge and information on the full range of available products.

• Follow up with customers on complex inquiries,  recommendations, testing, and compliance needs.

• Use predictive service insights to ensure our customers enjoy an effortless service experience.

• Become a certified Pressure Sensitive 101 (PS101) trainer to support Customer needs. 

• Build relationships with Customers,  Sales, Marketing and Service Teams to facilitate a climate of joint growth and partnership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

• Knowledge of Industry, products, and applications preferred.

• Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills required.

• Solid Customer service skills required.

• Computer savvy with an agile learning style preferred.

• Strong attention to detail & organizational skills required.

• Strong technical aptitude required. 

• Ability to network productively and independently to accomplish Customer and business objectives.

 

Additional Information:

The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $91,000/ year.


The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting.
