Adjunct Faculty position for the Human Performance and Movement Science department for J-Term 2026.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • (50%) Design and delivery course content for credit courses.

  • (45%) Prepare lesson plans and course materials. Assess student learning. Assign grades, refer students to support services. Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students.

  • (5%) Abide with USNH and KSC policies; participate in appropriate departments/unit meetings.

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree given preference.

  • Relevant teaching experience in wilderness first aid skills.

Required Licenses & Certifications:

  • Endorsed SOLO Instructor of Wilderness First Aid and CPR courses.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Related teaching or other employment in outdoor recreational setting.

Compensation Pay Range:

$800/credit or $840/credit for those with terminal degrees
