Join us at Salal Credit Union as a Branch Manager for our Bellevue Branch, where you'll lead a team of dedicated Personal Financial Representatives, delivering top-tier member-centric service to the community.

This full-time position works to support and guide the branch team as needed with hours between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday and/or 9:30am- 2:30pm on Saturdays.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Base salary range of $74,845-$104,783 per year. The typical starting offer will fall between $79,250 - $92,750 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Ability to earn additional variable compensation for meeting production goals; estimated annual earnings can range from 0-15% of your base salary.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BRANCH MANAGER

As a Branch Manager, you're not just overseeing branch activities - you're shaping our credit union's impact. Leading the charge in sales and service, you'll guide the branch team, providing hands-on support to our valued members and coaching our dedicated Personal Financial Representatives. With your strong leadership, excellent communication, and expert product knowledge, you'll make confident decisions, diffuse conflicts, and contribute to an exceptional member experience.

Your day-to-day will often include:

  • Regular mentorship of our Personal Financial Representatives and training new staff members
  • Managing the flow of members on the branch floor
  • Responding to member inquiries and Net Promoter Score surveys
  • Overseeing branch operations to maintain compliance with all Credit Union regulations
  • Assisting members by performing account transactions, loan functions, and other roles as needed to support the branch sales and service goals
  • Attending community events to promote the branch and Credit Union as needed - some of these may be in-person outside of the branch and others may be virtual events that you take part in
  • Collaborating with leadership and human resources to recruit and retain staff for the branch as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BRANCH MANAGER

  • Over 1 year of leadership experience in a sales-focused role within the financial sector
  • 3 years of retail banking experience
  • Proficiency in clear and concise communication, both verbal and written
  • Proven track record of coaching and managing teams to achieve sales and service goals
