Job Description:

Job Summary:

A contract manager oversees the life cycle of contracts, from creation and negotiation to execution and renewal. They work closely with the legal department to ensure contracts are legally compliant, protect the company's interests, manage risks, and maintain positive business relationships by balancing the needs of all parties. Key responsibilities include manage contract projects, analyzing financial impacts, and working with teams across different departments to close loops. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of the contract administration functions including intake of contract requests, obtaining approvals, tracking progress, obtain signatures, preparing and sending hardcopies via courier, track and provide status update.

  • Secure all necessary approvals and ensure that standard company policies and procedures are followed.

  • Summarize key points of simple and complex agreements.

  • Provide support to business teams in reviewing terms and negotiating contracts with customers, vendors, consultants, and service providers.

  • Review, redline, negotiate and process NDAs with the legal team.

  • Work with the legal to process correspondences, notices, and other communications with sales and customers.

  • Review standard terms and conditions on a global basis and update as necessary to ensure terms are consistent with current business practices and processes.

  • Track expiration dates and work with business stakeholders to ensure contracts are renewed or terminated on a timely basis.

  • Manage and update the Contract Database. Upload backlogged contracts to the database, and files, and manage the implementation of database upgrades.

  • Design, implement and maintain processes that improve contracts management.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related field.

  • 5+ years relevant experience in a global organization supporting sales, procurement, or product development.

  • Knowledge of documentation and business management principles.

  • Proficiency in time management and organization to meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Initiative and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Proficient knowledge and use of Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, SharePoint, DocuSign.

  • Program or project management experience is preferred.

Location:

  • Kirkland, WA (preferred) or San Jose, CA

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $90,000 - $140,000. The base salary range for this position in California is $100,000 - $150,000.
