IT Infrastructure Manager presso WIN Waste Innovations

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee daily operations of the Platform Infrastructure IT Department, including the IT Service Desk, end-user support, asset management, and support for Microsoft 365 and Azure. This hands-on role involves leading the IT Infrastructure team, ensuring reliable and secure IT systems, managing projects and support issues, and working closely with the CIO and senior management to execute technology strategies and optimize resources.

What you will do:

• Effectively lead the IT Infrastructure Team: workflow, support queues, escalations, and ensuring the team has the resources needed to support end users and operations.
• Manage IT operations and production support encompassing the daily maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems.
• Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for IT support to ensure timely responses, effective issue resolution, and high service availability.
• Project management and prioritization ensure alignment with the organization's goals and available resources.
• Work collaboratively with department heads to identify the specific needs of different business lines and operations, while also engaging with senior management for feedback.
• Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization’s IT systems and data includes contributing to security policies, ensuring the team follows best practices, and monitoring for potential threats.
• Create and maintain a technology roadmap that defines the strategic direction for IT initiatives, including both short-term and long-term goals, technology investments, and project timelines that align with the organization’s growth plans.
• Manage the IT budget and allocate resources for various projects and operational needs.
• Evaluate IT expenses and implement cost optimization strategies, including renegotiating vendor contracts, identifying opportunities for savings, and ensuring expenditure remains within budget.
• Evaluate individual and team performance
• Collaborate with the Operations team to implement IT solutions and practices that help identify and mitigate disruptions.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts, reviewing performance, and making recommendations for vendor selection or changes.
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

What you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 7 or more years of experience in technical support
• 4 or more years as a manager or as a people leader in a technical support function.
• Experience in managing vendors and IT service providers.

What your skillsets are:

• ITIL processes and methodologies.
• Strong technical background
• Strong leadership and effective people management skills.
• In-depth understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
• Advanced knowledge of endpoint devices such as computers, mobile phones, printers, networking equipment, and software management, as well as asset controls.
• Knowledge of Windows computer deployment practices.
