Job Description
For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has supported the Navy’s mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense. We offer unique career opportunities and challenges on a program with a rich history and exciting future. We help keep this nation and our allies secure. The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.
Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an ambitious Systems Engineers to become a member of the System Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) Team and join our Early Career Rotation Program. (SEIT-ECRP) Successful candidates may have anywhere from 0 to 4 years of work experience, with both entry-level and existing early-career roles available.
The FBM SEIT-ECRP is a rotation program within the FBM SEIT directorate designed to develop early career engineers. This program is a 3-year long program consisting of 4 rotations, typically 9 months in duration, designed to develop both technical and leadership skills in early career engineers.
Participants pursue rotations within the SEIT directorate and beyond that interest and challenge them as well as support the business. Participants find mentors who can help them set goals and provide professional development assistance and are encouraged to explore unfamiliar areas of expertise. Upon completion of SEIT-ECRP, participants will have a strengthened technical background, a fundamental set of leadership and project management skills, a comprehensive network of mentors, and an understanding of both Lockheed Martin Space and the FBM SEIT organization.
Based out of Titusville, FL and Cape Canaveral, FL, participants will have the opportunity to choose rotate across teams in the complete FBM Systems Engineering organization, with possible rotations in adjacent teams within the FBM Programs.
