Small-Group Dog Daycare Caregiver presso Tailored Pet Services

- Do you want to care for ONLY 10–15 dogs instead of 30–40?
- Do you want small playgroups where dogs are too busy having fun to bark?
- Do you wish dogs got structured breaks during the day like kindergartners like nap times?
- Do you want a predictable schedule — the same Monday–Friday shifts every week, with NO weekends, NO holidays, and NO late evenings?
If so, you may be the right fit for our team.
We’re Different Because Our Caregivers Help Dogs Learn, Grow, and Feel Safe. Here’s how we make that happen:
- We keep our playgroups small — usually 10–15 dogs matched by size, energy, and temperament so the room stays calm and safe for everyone.
- Our daycare stays surprisingly quiet because dogs aren’t overstimulated, and neighbors often tell us, “We didn’t even know a daycare was here.”
- Dogs get two one-hour nap breaks each day, just like kindergartners, so they settle into their Dream Dens, reset, and return to play politely.
- Your schedule is always Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3:30 PM with no weekends, holidays, or late evenings because we don’t offer boarding or kennels.
⭐ What You’ll Do
- Guide small, compatible playgroups
- Support shy or unsure dogs with patient introductions
- Read group body language and redirect early
- Maintain a clean, peaceful room
- Lead two daily nap breaks
- Build relationships with the same dogs each week
- This is relationship-based dog care, not crowd control.
⭐ Experience Required
For the safety of our dogs and your co-workers, these requirements are non-negotiable.
You must already have all of the following:
- You have safely supervised 6+ loose, unrelated animals at the same time. A true moving group — not leashed, not kenneled, not one at a time.
- You have personally prevented tension or escalation in a group of dog. You’ve recognized rising stress and stepped in early — protecting dogs and teammates.
- You have remained in at least one animal-care role for 12+ consecutive months. Stability matters for the dogs and for our small team.
- You live close enough to reliably arrive on time — within 30 minutes of our location. Late arrivals disrupt routines and put dogs and co-workers at risk.
- If your experience focused on one dog at a time — or only on family-unit dogs — it will not prepare you to safely manage a group of 10–15 unrelated dogs here.
⭐ Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3:30 PM
- No nights, no weekends, no holidays
- $20–$24/hr DOE + group size bonuses
- Predictable, stable scheduling
- Employee discounts on grooming and daycare
