Description:
Seeking Senior Account Executive / Senior Vice President in Captive Insurance Company Management. Remote work from any location in the US is possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise to perform critical client functions, including evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines and related to accounting and insurance regulatory compliance.
- Help establish the growth and retention strategy for account team and monitor implementation. Duly monitor the retention of business and generation of new business.
- Ensure the success of relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
- Serve as a client contact and responds to more complex client needs and questions to improve the client experience.
- Maintaining and monitoring monthly account analysis and reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts and resolving reconciling items and issues noted in a timely manner.
- Preparing, reviewing and uploading monthly journal entries for month-end close.
- Reviewing, documenting and resolving variances in monthly preliminary Financial Statements prior to distribution.
- Preparing various audit schedules as requested.
- Creating and maintaining key process flows related to position.
- Functioning as interdepartmental liaison in regards to accounting policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of financial software used for revenue recognition process.
- Special projects as assigned.
Serving as informal mentor and resource to Staff Accountants, Intermediate Accountant, Senior Accounting Associate and Intern.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent training
- Licensed CPA or equivalent international credential preferred
- Experience with regulatory filings
- Prior P&L/revenue responsibility
- Technology enthusiast
- Strong collaborator
- Prior direct or indirect experience managing professional staff
