  • Salary: From $55,000 and varies based on qualifications and experience.

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for all video, audio, graphic design, and multimedia content production for American 1 Credit Union and Community 1 Cooperative. This position supports the Marketing team in creating digital and print content, designing creative assets, and ensuring brand consistency for American 1.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Focus on Purpose: Focused on the credit union's purpose of creating financial wellness in our community through everyday banking. 
  • Graphic and Creative Asset Design: Develop visually compelling graphics and creative assets for digital and print campaigns, including brochures, flyers, signage, and social media content.
  • Print Advertising: Design and produce print advertisements for internal and external marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Multimedia Content Creation: Coordinate all logistics, planning, equipment, and personnel needed for video production and digital content development.
  • Marketing Strategy Support: Assist in creating digital and print content (video, photo, graphic design) for branding and marketing purposes.
  • Drive Brand Equity: Direct and produce videos, audio, and visual assets for credit union initiatives and member/community engagement. Demonstrate an excellent understanding of aesthetics, current design trends, and American 1 branding.
  • Vendor and Media Support: Function as a subject matter expert for video production and digital media to support various businesses as needed through Community 1 Cooperative.
  • Community Advocate: Serves as a credit union representative within the community and is actively visible at credit union and union-sponsored events.
  • Employee Culture: Committed to building and supporting an engaging and inclusive culture for all. 
  • Core Process, Policy, and Procedure Review: Responsible for following all processes, policies, and procedures, including policies and procedures for customer identification and all BSA requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred – in Video Production, Graphic Design, Media Production, Marketing, or Advertising – or equivalent professional experience in these fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in video and media production
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro), or similar creative platforms used for content design and production.
  • Experience with print production processes and digital marketing platforms.
