We are looking for a Sr. Network and Computer Systems Administrator in San Diego, California.


Summary

Leads system administration for servers, networks, virtual infrastructure, and security baselines. Designs architectures, oversees patching, backup strategies, monitoring, and enterprise configuration. Resolves complex system outages, manages domain environments, and implements compliance with STIG, RMF, and cybersecurity requirements. Provides leadership across IT operations and mentors junior administrators.


Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems and servers.
  • Manage user access, data backups, and patching.
  • Monitor network health and implement cybersecurity standards.
  • Support disaster recovery and system continuity initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • 10+ years of network/system administration experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) preferred.
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance - Required
