Qualifications
- A valid Mississippi teaching certificate
- Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience
- Experience in conducting technology training programs
- Experience in designing projects that integrate technology in teaching and learning
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating system
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Mac OS and/or iOS
- Experience with iWork and iLife suites
- Strong working knowledge of Mississippi curriculum frameworks and state-wide standards
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Strong public relations and presentation skills
- Strong organization and management skills

Job Goal
Designs, trains, and implements projects with all teachers that support the integration of technology in the classroom
Support innovative teaching and learning in all schools
Essential Functions
- Conducts professional development for school personnel focusing on technology integration
- Designs and coordinates instructional programs and projects that integrate technology and enhance instruction
- Actively promotes educational technology as a means to improve student achievement
- Actively promotes educational technology as a means to improve the instructional practice of teachers.
- Assists schools in evaluating software and hardware purchase requests
- Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.
Travel Required
In district travel required.
Evaluation
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
