RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Support and administer the global network infrastructure, including Fortinet, Aruba, and Juniper switches, FortiGate firewalls, and UCS servers.
- Manage Windows (Active Directory, GPO, IIS, PKI) and Linux servers, both on-prem (HPV cluster) and in cloud environments (Cirrus, GCP, Azure).
- Administer and maintain databases (MSSQL/MySQL), including regular maintenance and backups.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including patching (OS, hardware), vulnerability management, and software rollouts using tools like Endpoint Central.
- Enforce SOC 2 controls, enhance cybersecurity (Cortex XDR), manage PKI/SSL certificates, and support internal/external audits.
- Monitor servers, networks, and services (PRTG) and manage backup/disaster recovery processes, including restore tests.
- Administer Google Workspace Enterprise (including SAML/SSO) and application assets (Jira, Confluence, GitLab).
- Provide technical support for RDS/SAP environments and act as L1 on-site support (user help, onboarding) when needed.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation on Confluence.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or 5+ years of System Administrator experience.
- Proficiency in:
- Windows Server (AD, DNS, GPO, DFS) and Linux administration.
- Network equipment (Fortinet, Aruba, Juniper) and security (Firewalls, VPN, ZTNA).
- Managing PKI, SSL certificates, and NPS (RADIUS).
- Vulnerability Management (e.g., Nessus), Patch Management, Endpoint Security, and Backup/Recovery.
- Experience with:
- MSSQL/MySQL database maintenance and backup.
- Google Workspace (SAML/SSO) and scripting (PowerShell/Python).
- Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence), GitLab, and QNAP.
- Certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL) are a strong plus.
- Virtualization, SolidWorks/PDM, RDS farm/ SAP environment..
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proactive, dependable, and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
