We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Conveyancing Specialist to join our Contract Services team within Group Legal & Risk team in Queensland. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and compliant management of contracts that support our sales and settlement targets. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values precision, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
As a Contract Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing and managing contracts and related documents including variations, extensions, cancellations, and terminations.
- Lodging plans and registrations under supervision, ensuring timelines and obligations are met.
- Reviewing and approving contract terms, managing key dates, conditions, and disclosures.
- Facilitating Stockland’s contract signing process and ensuring timely distribution and storage.
- Creating settlement statements and PEXA workspaces to support accurate and timely settlements.
- Managing financial aspects such as deposits, adjustments, duties, and reconciliations across systems.
- Reviewing and signing transfer documents in PEXA.
- Supporting ongoing contract management including leases, display villages, and deeds of on-sale.
- Retrieving and compiling contract data for reporting purposes.
- Maintaining proficiency in PEXA and participating in regular training.
- Complying with trust accounting policies and escalation procedures.
