ABOUT POSITION

Overview

Location: Córdoba (Hybrid: 3 days at office, 2 days remote).

Position: Full-Time.

JOB PROPOSE

In this role you will provide leadership and direction to a team of innovative, proactive, and dynamic software professionals, architects, data scientists and engineers developing AI products that offer predictions and recommendations to reduce customer churn, improve sales and increase customer loyalty. in several verticals for the global market. As engineering manager, you will set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage their performance. As this management position is highly visible, it will require frequent communication and interactions with the senior leadership team and customers. It will require a self-driven individual taking on the responsibilities to develop and shape the product roadmap, deliver on commitments to customers and strategic Fligoo goals. Strong execution focused mindset required.

• Grow the Engineering team by hiring as well as developing engineers within the existing team. 

• Interface and communicate regularly with senior management and client stakeholders 

• Lead the client technical and business roadmap according to their needs and requirements. 

• Drive initiatives and take ownership of the deliverables. 

• Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices. Follow a disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance 

• Ensure security and cloud architecture best practices are honored. 

Qualifications 

You must possess the below minimum qualifications 

• Bachelor's with 5+ years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. 

• 5+ years of experience in software development, engineering management, and/or technical program management. 

• 5+ years managing highly technical teams. 

• 5+about software product life cycle, Agile Methodologies, project planning, estimation, and risk management 

• Proficient expertise with public cloud services – AWS preferred 

• Experience in data science environments such as notebooks, data storages, and dashboarding solutions 

• Experience with various coding languages including, but not limited to: C#, Python and Javascript. Thorough knowledge of data structures, algorithms, profiling/optimization, and object-oriented and functional programming. 

• Experience with technology infrastructure, storage, and virtualization. 

• Extensive software design and architecture skills. 

• Experience with building high-performance, large-scale, and user-friendly software applications and tools.
