We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead our clinical strategy, oversee quality of care, and support the continued growth and excellence of our organization.
Position Summary
The Chief Medical Officer is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for providing clinical leadership, ensuring high standards of patient care, and guiding medical operations across the organization. This role works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and administrative leaders to foster a collaborative environment focused on quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for all clinical programs, initiatives, and policies.

Oversee quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.

Serve as a primary liaison between medical staff, executive leadership, and operational teams.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations.

Lead provider recruitment, credentialing, retention, and performance evaluation.

Develop and implement clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices.

Utilize data and analytics to drive performance, efficiency, and patient experience.

Support organizational growth, service line expansion, and innovative care models.

Participate in budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.

Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Board-certified in a medical specialty.

Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility).

Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, including 3–5 years in medical leadership or executive roles.

Proven experience in quality improvement, population health, or clinical operations.

Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience in a multi-site healthcare organization or health system.

Knowledge of value-based care, care coordination models, and clinical technology systems.
