Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular PACU CVOR- 4x10 hour shifts to cover unit hours between 5am-7.30pm with some after hours on call to support late recovering cases.
Unit Information:
- Surgeries recovered includes, TAVR, Mitral Clip, Triluminate, watchmen, TEE, sternal wire removal • Surgeries pre-op includes, TAVR, TEE, CABG, transplants, Aortic Surgeries, Valve Replacements (mini and open), device insertion (VADs)
- Adult patient population
- Recovered patient population with temporary pacemakers- transvenous and epicardial • Adult patient population

CVOR PACU RN Qualifications
- A minimum of one-year PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED) Nursing experience is required,
- BSN or ADN Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- If RN has an ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of hire
- RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA is required at start
CVOR PACU RN Preferred Qualifications:
- Current PACU experience with PreOp, Phase 1 and Phase 2 experience or candidates with 2+ years in ICU including experience with cardiac patients
