Description
Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility in Decatur is in need of dietary workers - prep dietary aides dishwashers - part-time or casual/as needed. Must be 21 years or older; be deemed eligible to work in healthcare by IDPH; and have a compassionate nature and understanding of people with mental illness.
If you have worked in a healthcare setting previously, you'll have a leg up on other candidates! Have good knife skills and food prep experience is required. Experience with food service equipment necessary.
Part-time paid time off for sick, vacation and holidays (must work at least 20 hours a week).

Requirements
- Must be deemed eligible to work in a healthcare setting by IDPH; may require fingerprinting
- Must be 21 years or older
- Experience working in Dietary within a healthcare setting preferred over restaurant experience
- Understanding and compassion for people with mental illness
- Food Safe Certification a plus
- Excellent work ethics; must be reliable and show up on time when scheduled -- after all, our residents have to eat!
