Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech / RT) - Travel Position  
Location: Knoxville, TN 
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks 
Shift: 3x12s Nights 
Pay: $1987.29/week 
Completion Bonus: Up to $7350 total. (You will receive $2450 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)

Job Description:  

We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join a high-volume Level I Trauma Center. This role requires extensive Operating Room (OR) and Fluoroscopy experience, demanding proficiency with advanced X-ray equipment (GE/Siemens) and specialized OR tools like the O-Arm. The RT must be flexible and ready to float across all hospital settings to meet high-acuity needs.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Perform high-quality radiographic examinations and fluoroscopic procedures in various departments, with a heavy emphasis on the Operating Room (OR).
• Operate specialized equipment, including O-Arm and GE/Siemens X-ray units, ensuring patient and team safety during procedures.
• Manage and prioritize imaging needs in the Emergency Department (ED), Inpatient (IP), Outpatient (OP), and complete portable examinations.
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols, ALARA principles, and imaging best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all imaging procedures and patient care activities.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, emergency physicians, and nursing staff in a fast-paced, high-stress, Level I Trauma environment.

Qualifications:  

• Active RT license in Tennessee.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification is REQUIRED.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience is REQUIRED. Extensive OR experience is a must.
• COVID vaccine, Flu Vaccine, and recent TB test are required.
