Position Summary:

The RN House Supervisor will facilitate and control Patient Flow /Bed Express Duties within the hospital, assuring that patients are moved efficiently to units assigned.  As well as:

  • must demonstrate the clinical ability to work as an RN on the Unit to which assigned
  • Supports and serves as house supervisor in the absence of Nursing Administration. 
  • Must be able to coordinate the delivery of patient care; completes required documentation
  • participate in patient/family teaching and discharge planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process. 
  • Provides leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative and support personnel in maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting.                                             

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing Required. Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
  • An Active Arizona RN License or Compact License required.
  • ACLS within 60 days of hire 
  • PALS within 60 days of hire
