JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Finance Specialist
Reports To: Manager Finance Regional Support
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Location: Pune
Responsibilities:
- Key user of one or more common application (examples: SARA, SAP, …)
- First line support to resolve application topics
- Be the network into second and third line support organisation(s)
- Participate in implementation projects of new organizations, processes and systems
- Support in roll-out of new releases - testing, evaluation and modification of local procedures
- Work together with process managers to perform process and system evaluations to improve
- business operations
- Support audits (tax, accounting, SICS, government)
- Application maintenance, support and master data mgmt. System specific, such as:
- Monthly closing of various modules within the SARA Masterpiece systems
- Perform daily correction of errors
- Create standard web queries for recurring use at organization level
- Contributor in spreading knowledge about our standardised process and thereby contact with
- global Finance Academy
- Drive in implementing best practices and identifying improvement areas within the region
- Driving process harmonization and standardization within a region while securing content of service delivery
- Pro-actively support Finance Operation in keeping systems and tools up- to-date
Competencies:
- Understanding of Finance processes, process development and improvement
- Deep understanding in Financial applications used by SKF
Strong analytical and PC (Microsoft Excel) skills - Continuous improvement mind-set
- Service oriented approach and excellent communication skills
- Extended networking and teaming skills
Candidate Profile:
- 3-5 years of university studies within Computer science, business administration or Finance
- 2+ years hands on experience with SKF Common Financial Systems or similar
