The Director of Key Account Technology (KAT) will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with our key customers while developing and growing the team. As Director of KAT, you will be required to attend customer technical review meetings to represent the Clean Product Line. Additionally, you will be responsible for the department and developing the Key Account Technologists within the team. This position requires a deep understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment, as well as the ability to provide technical expertise and support to ensure customer satisfaction and success. It also requires strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Grow and develop the team to meet the needs of the Clean Product Line
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary technical point of contact.
- Priority Alignment: Drive alignment between account teams and clean product line on priorities for market penetrations and defenses.
- Product Demonstrations: Organize product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Lam Research clean technologies.
- Feedback Loop: Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our products and services.
- Training and Education: Provide training and educational resources to customers and account teams to enhance their understanding and utilization of Lam Research clean technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and product development teams to align customer needs with company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Technical Experience: Minimum 12 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry with a bachelor’s degree, or 8 years with a master’s degree or 5 years with a PhD.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience managing direct reports. Department leadership experience preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required. Additionally strong communication skills in Chinese preferred.
- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
