What you'll do:

  • Work cross-functionally with data engineers, BI analysts, and business stakeholders to generate models and scorecards that minimize risk and support business goals.
  • Conduct exploratory data mining and analysis to understand customer behavior, experience, engagement, and uncover opportunities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for data, outcomes, and platforms used in modeling.
  • Champion data-driven strategy and decision making.
  • Build and implement scorecards for KYC, Fraud, Credit, and Risk.
  • Ensure work complies with validation and governance requirements.
  • Work with BSA and Fraud Operations to identify and build tools to combat emerging trends in fraud.
  • Present analysis and results to senior leadership clearly and effectively.
  • Develop, test, and monitor regression and ML models.
  • Prepare to explain the functioning of models built and their outcomes.
  • Mine through large data sets to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Partner with senior data scientists on projects related to text analytics, predictive modeling, data investigation, data development, and opportunity identification.

What you need:

  • Education: A U.S. degree is required, with a major in Data Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field1.
  • Experience: 12 months of experience is required1 in the job offered, or as a Data Analyst, Risk Analyst, Research Analyst, or in a related occupation
